A dog day

Our neighbor called to ask if we could check on their mastiff throughout the day. We decided to bring the dog home with us for the day.

 

Yes he's huge. At less than a year old he's so so so gentle and quick to listen to firm but quiet commands.

 

We laughed as he snuggled with the kids when they all laid down on the floor.

 

 

Ark Boy followed this guy around all day ... and the rest of the time the dog followed Ark Boy around. They got some playing outside-in-the-snow time. We've told Ark Boy maybe when he's closer to 7 we can get a dog. He's content with this. In the meantime we've warned the neighbors that we're waiting for the opportunity to steal their dog ;)
